Sasbo members now have two options to enjoy affordable and discounted holidays.

The Chakela Hotels’ Kashback option caters for South African and European destinations:

• A 15% discount on the daily accommodation tariff at hotels and resorts of the Chakela Group
• Kashback of R250 (annual membership fee) or 10% on accommodation spend (whichever is the greater) after first booking and confirmed stay
• With second and further bookings, you get 15% discount on the daily accommodation tariff, plus a 10% Kashback after confirmed stay
• There are more than 60 local hotels, and a few in some neighbouring countries which can be viewed at www.chakelahotels.com
• Chakela offers more than 800 international accommodation possibilities mainly in Europe (15% discount does not apply to international hotels, only 10% Kashback)

To join:

• Have your Sasbo membership number at hand and call Ivone at the Kashback Call Centre on 021 418 2021
• Complete the required application process
• Pay the annual membership fee of R250 (incl VAT)

Toucan Travel offers discounted holiday and travel options at local and limited international destinations, e.g. Mauritius, the Canary Islands and Spain:

Hotel bookings:

• As per hotels listed on the voucher or contact Toucan Travel Promotions on 0861 114 187 or visit their website for a list of resorts available.
• Liaise with one of their consultants for other options
• Minimum of two persons, maximum of six (inclusive of children)
• Minimum of three nights, maximum seven (liaise with consultant for other options)
• Meal rates for children will be advised when making the booking
• Bookings for more than six persons should be discussed with the consultant

Self-catering:

• Minimum of four persons - bookings for any other number of persons should be discussed with a consultant
• Rates are set according to a levy applicable per person per day
• Not available during school holidays, weekends and any week with a public holiday

Complete the information required and send to Toucan Travel Promotions, who will process the request and make the arrangements. There is a minimal administration fee or 'temporary membership fee' payable on return of the completed reservation request form.

The voucher entitles members to seven nights complimentary accommodation based on two adults sharing at selected international hotels subject to paying for two meals per day (whether taken or not). Accommodation at selected local hotels is discounted and includes one or two meals. All holiday bookings are subject to availability and the voucher is subject to terms and conditions
